ati x800

does some one know why the ati radeon x800 do not work propely for 64 bit vista? when installer is almost ready combuter just freeze and nothing help only shutting down for power button and when start combuter its starts normaly but windows doesent regonise x800 there come only uknow hardware so if you know what help please tell. ati vista drivers doesent help.

I have an X800GT and have no problem to install beta drivers for Vista 64 Moreover it installed fine without beta drivers: only a problem with screen center fixed changing colors from 32bit to 16bit (???...!!!!). Now display is ok. Try booting in safe mode, uninstall all and install again before rebooting in normal mode. N.

I don't know about that, but i have an ATI X800 Pro and it works fine on my set up. althought catalyst shows it as being an x800 gto.
